Christmas Eve

Jingles came and brought pajamas and
coloring books to the kids.
Later in the day, Aspen and Raider exchanged
gifts to each other. Raider got ninja
turtle toys and Aspen got some bead
activity set.

We spent the rest of the evening at my
parents house. The dinner was fabulous.
we did more gift exchange, read the
Christmas story, read a letter
from my grandma, my dad read
Cajun night before Christmas, we also
played a few games. The night was a
success!!!

I fell down the stairs and hurt my foot.

 shoveling snow
Raider loves being Trents side-kick.
Whatever Trent is doing, Raider
is right there helping.

Thanksgiving

The day before Thanksgiving, my Dad
taught me how to cut up our
smoked turkeys the right way.
My Dad is amazing and I am always
so grateful for him and his
lessons.

Thanksgiving is my most favorite
holiday ever!! This year we ate with
the Turners, it was yummy.
With all the people, cooking and
running around, Raider and
Sebastian were sweating. Before you
know it, the shirts were off.

November

In November I turned 32 years young.
We also had an anniversary. For both
events Jan and Tony took our kids for the night
so Trent and I could go on
a nice date.

 Trent modeling his new leather
electrician bags,

On one of our date nights we actually
stopped at Lows to compared their
electrician bags to Trents new ones.
This was super romantic....growing old
together is awesome!!!!!

Halloween!!!

For my moms annual Halloween dinner
party, I was a cowgirl, Aspen was
the queen of hearts, Raider was a
ninja turtle and Trent was a party pooper
( he never dresses up).
Since it was suppose to be cold on Halloween day,
I decided to dress up as a warm werewolf.
Well, it ended up being hot... too hot to wear the
costume, I was dying while I took the
kids around. I hate being hot.
Two of my siblings, Lacey=baseball player
Hyrum= Dora the explore.

Garth Brooks.........Best Night Ever!!!

 Trent and I
 Me, Hyrum and Courtney

Garth Brooks was so good, he put
on one heck of a show. Trisha Yearwood
also came out on stage. They both
sang every song I wanted to hear.
Trent and I. Hyrum and Courtney went to see
Garth Brooks. It was amazing!! For real. the high
light of my year, I love love love this era of
country music. I am so so grateful that Trent
took me on this wonderful date. This
is something I would totally do again,

Halloween, almost

My mother and I took my kids and
Zoey and Darcy to a pumpkin patch. They had
a mini corn maze, petting zoo, play ground,
a non-spooky spook ally and lots of pumpkins.
Gardner Village to see the witches.
This is the perfect picture of Aspen telling
me one of her many stories/ideas and
me listening ever so intensely.
This is serious. When either one of my
children talk to me, I have to stop, and look
at them or they get extremely frustrated.

Fall Randomness

 Trent painting Aspens nails...cute
When I don't work, we actually get
to go to church

Its a really rare occasion that we take the kids
to a movie, especially at night.
We went and saw Hotel Transylvania....
Of course they were showered and
ready for bed before we went. That's how we roll...

The Race......

Kim and I got up early so we could have a spot by the fire
as everyone waits for the race to start.
I took Gu and water at miles nine, fifteen,
nineteen and twenty-three. Towards the end, I even ate a
few slices of oranges. Oranges always taste better when I'm running.
my goal was 3:45:00, I kept faster then that pace till mile fifteen and then I
started to slow down. I did not pace myself very well. I ran the first
half of the marathon faster then the second half, it should have
been the other way around. By mile twenty-one I was
going much slower then planned. Next time...I will
run smarter, not faster or stronger...just smarter.

Holy cow, it felt so amazing to cross that finish line!!!
All the Turners were there cheering me on, it felt good.

St. George Marathon

The whole Turner family came to watch me run
the St. George Marathon. In between planning and
packing for the trip I was worried that I might leave
some of my running stuff at home, so, I
laid out all my stuff days before.
The first stop... The Convection center to pick up
my bib number, and timing chip
The kids made posters for me, I loved it!!! (Seriously,
it helps seeing a sign just for you in the last few miles)

Football

Raider played Itty Bitty Football
this year!!! It was so fun to watch
him learn the very basics of football.
To say he loved it, would be an understatement.
