Turner Time

Raider and Trent just chillin
Later in day we head to the Turners for
A huge lunch and lots of gift openings.

I love love love this picture of Tony. It makes
me smile.
My kids get so spoiled by their Turner
grandparents.  Jan and Tony are so good to us.

Dad and Mom Gray
One of the best parts about Christmas is
going to my parents for brunch. I love it.
 The Turner clan of four.

Christmas Day!!!!

We got up right at six o'clock and started opening
gifts while our breakfast cooked.  We always start with
the stockings...

 Moving onto the big stuff..

We got a trampoline!!! Aspen kept saying this was
the best Christmas ever. She was right. My kids are at
amazing stages in life, they really bring out the
Christmas magic.

Christmas Eve...

Christmas Eve day was a little rough. Trent and I both had
to work all day so that means the kids were in daycare.
As soon as we all got home things seemed to get good real
fast. The kids opened their gifts from Jingles right away. Aspen got
pajamas and the new Taylor Swift CD, Raider got pajamas
and some spider man books.
Modeling the new pajamas and silly faces.
(Raider got his new pjs dirty, therefor, he had to change).
After jingles, dinner, reading the Christmas story,
and getting cookies out for Santa, the kids exchanged
their gifts to each other. Aspen gave Raider lincoln logs. Raider
gave Aspen a Hello Kitty ds game and alarm clock.

Gray Christmas Dinner

The Gray family had their Christmas dinner the
Sunday before Christmas. The party was the usual,
dinner, read Grandma Grays letter, talk about the true meaning of
Christmas and then exchange our family gifts.
 sweet sweet baby Ray...

Aspen and Zoey listen to Grandpa read the last few
pages of "How the Grinch Stole Christmas"
Here lie the best kids ever, taking a break
from all the Christmas chaos.

Merrill Party

 Merrill Family Christmas Party, although
none of us actually have the last name of Merrill.
Norah and Trent really hit it off!!! No joke, this
little girl is so stink'in cute. Trent fell in love with her.
The gang. (I love Camis face)
Aspen had a speaking part, she did amazing.
Of coarse Raider wouldn't hold still
Raider and Aspen exchanged gifts with Cami's boys, Carter and
David. next year we will have to get all the kids involved.

Turner Christmas Party.

Fernanda, Lance, Jan, and Aspen

 Dinner+ Gingerbread Trains+ Games+
a Christmas family home evening lesson=
A good family party.
 Love this girls brown eyes...
Trent and his side kick (no really, Raider
always fallows Trent everywhere)
Me and my side kick. Do we look alike? I hope so,
cause Aspen is too cute.

Oh Aspen...

Aspen and Trent are the only two people that I know,
that can pull off this awkward face.
This is Fall-Fast, Aspens tree that she made up
and takes care of. This girl is too creative.
The story Aspen wrote. "once their was a Christmas
tree that I found by my door. I liked it so I kept it.
I watered it and decorated it. I love it and it loved me.
I named it Fall-Fast and Fall-Fast named me ToTeep.
I love you"

Earlier in the year, Aspen entered the Reflections
Contest at school. She won a medal!!
We are so happy for her, Aspen worked
very hard on the project.

Ward Party...

Its nice to have a ward Christmas breakfast so I dont
stress about being out too late. The real reason we go
is so my kids can pick an ornament off the giving tree.
Giving is a good lesson my kids need to learn.
This is how Raider feels about Santa...

Dance...

This is Aspens second time doing dance,
although she enjoyed it, Aspen has decided
that dance is not for her. Aspen would
rather stick with gymnastics and soccer.
Since I believe seven year old girls
do not need make-up, Aspen didn't
wear any and she was still beautiful!!!

Christmas Choir

This is the second year Aspen has sang in
the school choir. The Christmas program
is so cute, Aspen does a great job.

Grandma Jan sat with Raider (he was in bed)
so Trent and I could both go to the concert. Plus Jan
had already seen it at school. Grandpa Tony,
Grandma Gray and Tyson came with was.
Aspen is so blessed to have so many
people who love and support her.

Sunday Activities

Aspen let Raider have a taste of her sucker and
he paid her back with a kiss.
Later in the day cousin Zoey came over to
decorate gingerbread men with Aspen.
Cousins are the best!!!

Riverwoods

My mom, Lacey, Aspen, Raider, and I went to
Riverwoods to see the lights, see the
gingerbread houses, did some shopping
and ate a little chocolate. We left before Santa came,
we are seeing him next week anyways.
